LSI Alumni Innovator Spotlight: Orchestra BioMed’s David Hochman, Darren Sherman, and Bill Little

Orchestra BioMed CEO David Hochman, President and COO Darren Sherman, and Executive Vice President, Corporate Development and Strategy, Bill Little, recently had the opportunity to be interviewed for the Lens Medtech magazine by Life Science Intelligence.

In the conversation, David, Darren, and Bill trace Orchestra's origins back to 2008, when David and Darren first began working together and eventually built Orchestra Medical Ventures on the foundation of their previous medtech experience. They unpack the thinking behind Orchestra's partnership model: one where Orchestra can lead significant development and R&D work that provides meaningful P&L relief for strategic partners, with Orchestra's own economics tied to long-term commercial success.

The conversation also covers Orchestra's flagship programs, AVIM Therapy and Virtue SAB, as well as perspective on what it really takes to build a lasting partnership between an emerging company and a large, established industry partner.
